Great Product - Works beautifully, and very convenient
I really do love this twin monitor portable dvd system. I researched the heck out of what was available and was a little nervous about getting this one based on earlier reviews, but none of the dual monitor dvd systems seemed to have good reviews at this price range. I have sense used it on very long trips (13 hour drives, etc). Out of the box, it is very light, but turned out to be very durable, (I have two toddlers who kicked the screens and banged on the dvd player.) Both screens worked great. Don't let other reviews sway you too much. It sounds like a lot of people simply did not realize that there are individual screen buttons that allow for one or both of the screens to be on at one time, and these need to be repushed whenever the dvd plyer is turned off. The convenience of having the dvd player seperate from the monitors was better than I realized it would be and the remote works great. I also did not have the problem that I read others had with many systems when the dvd player is turned off, as this one could be turned back on to the last part of the dvd watched, and pause, rewind and fast forward are all options as well, just like you would have at home. I loved it. The sound was loud and clear and you can use ear phones if need be. There is also not the mess of several different cords running all over the place or, as with our old single monitor, a swinging, strappy mess between the seats. The monitors fit neatly and easily on the back of the headrests. Also, once at the hotel, we disconnected the dvd player, and used another cord to watch movies with it on the tv in our room - saved a bundle on hotel movie rentals. Very easy to use, durable and works great!

So far so good...
I was really reluctant to purchase this DVD player set after reading the reviews, seems the opinions were split down the middle. Since I really need something to keep my kids (4 and 1) occupied for the long drive cross-country soon; I decided to go ahead with my purchase.
Delivery was kind of a nightmare; when it finally got here, I thought it looked nice and really liked the bag it came in. Everything has a nice little compartment and it would be easy to carry from place to place.
Installing them into the vehicle took less than 5 mins. The cords are a little bit of a hassel but I found a way to bundle the cords with something kind of like the velcro strap that comes on the cord to a laptop, works really well. I tucked the buddled cords into the seat pockets of the seats in front of them so the kids won't be tempted to play with them.
I really like that the player itsself comes separate from the monitors so it can be placed up front with me, instead of having to reach back to change DVDs. The only thing I wish was different is the monitors, I'd prefer if they both came on when the player itsself was turned on. For those who only want to utilize one at different times, you do have the option to do so though with the way it is.
The pictures and quality looks good so far...I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying they are messing up after a couple of weeks so I'll be back with an update if and when that happens.

Delivery service kinda sucks
I cannot give a rating on the product as of yet because it has not made it way to me yet. I am very disappointed in the delivery system at this point. I tracked the package and it has been in Anchorage since Weds. 27th which is about 15 mins away from me, I cannot for the life of me see why it took 3 additional days from them to "say" they tried to deliver my package. The log says they attempted delivery today at 4:13pm and that is a complete lie. We have been here all day long and they did not attempt to deliver to us; so i'm really wondering who they are trying to deliver to!!!! Update on the product if it ever makes it here.

All i could ask for!
I purchased this item for my 1 1/2 year old son. He has never been a child who has liked riding for more then 5 miles. I thought this would be the perfect christmas present and it was! He is awesome now to ride with. We can go on over 1 hour trips with a happy child. The actual unit is nice i haven't had any problem with it yet. We also just went on a 6 hour trip over new years and it is still working great. I had read on some reviews it didn't last but ours did. It doesn't have a pause button but if you hit stop 1 time and then come back later without unplugging it from you cigarette lighter plug and hit play it will start back up from where it was at. All and all we LOVE our player. I didn't want the other kind where he was in control of the buttons. I just place the player in the front seat. We only use the 1 screen until other kids are with us since he's an only child.

Great product for the price!
I researched these for awhile and came to this one because of price, Its not a very high quality unit, the displays case seem cheap, but its just an LCD in a plastic box. It works great, simple to hook-up and setup in the car. We have 2 cars and move it from one to the other fairly quikly. The carry case it comes with is great to keep all the cables and charges together, The picture quality is very good and so is the sound, each display has a volume control and a plug for headphones. One good feature is the ability to skip thru scenes to get back to where the kids left the movie when we stop the car to take a break. Over-all I would recommend this unit highly, but I've only had it for 3 months, so far so good.

Skeptical, but love it!
I recently purchased this DVD player, even after reading all of the negative reviews. We had a two screen DVD player previously, and it finally died. We tried the ones with the DVD player actually in one of the screens, but the sound was horrible. This DVD player, while it is light and somewhat flimsy, worked perfectly, and the sound was amazing! The picture was great, and it worked like a charm!

Piece of cheap plastic junk - failed after one trip!
I bought this for my kids for Christmas, thought it would be great for them each to have their own screen and for me to have the controls in the front (passenger) seat. On our first trip with the players, within 5 miles of our house, the bracket holding the strap on one of the screens broke. Thankfully I was able to rig it together with a band-aid. After the trip, I put away the players (my kids only watch movies on long trips) and took them out a week later for a 2 hr trip. One of the players had sound only, no picture. Completely and utterly broke. Thankfully I bought it through Amazon and returned it because it was defective.
The screens and player are so cheap, I would never buy again. I'm now on the hunt for a new dual-screen set, or even better, two tablet-style dvd players.
DON'T BUY - it is total junk.

Great price, great product
I really wanted a DVD player where the DVD could be inserted in the front seat. After all, who wants to have to pull over the car to change a DVD. This was just what I was looking for. The price was great, the product works perfectly, and my child loves it.

Major Disappointment
Purchased this unit for a long road trip. Right out of the box, it looked like something was off. The colors (with all settings adjusted equally) on the 2 screens looked completely different - one of them looked extremely unnatural. After about 30 minutes of using, the sound became distorted. You could hear the dvd spinning right through the speakers, then it would change to whirring, then chattering. Overall, the package is pretty nice - nice bag, remote (that didn't work that well either), dvd player separate from the screens (I really liked this feature), but the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. I brought it back to Target a day after we returned from our trip. Will be looking to buy another, probably more expensive player.

Product arrived promptly and worked as expected. Easy for the kids to share and operate. Kept the kids entertained on our long car ride over the holidays. The player is small enough to set on the console between the front driver/passenger seats and the screens mounted nicely to the back of the seats without interfering with headrest/seat comfort.

Great start...lousy finish
First the good news......We ordered this product for a six hour car ride. It arrived on time and worked like a dream. Great picture quality and really loved the fact that the actual player was sperate from the monitors. It made changeing DVDs much easier.
Now the bad news....On our ride back home, the player stopped working. Just stopped. No bumps in the road to jog anything loose, no power problems, no children handling it...it just stopped, never to start again.

Great value and great product!!!
Purchased this as a Christmas present for my daughter who travels over three hours to visit. She has three young daughters and this helps to keep them busy over the long trip. I installed this in her van while she was here for Christmas. The product worked great right out of the box. It was very easy to install and came with everything you need. I was worried about the length of the cables, but they were actually longer than what I needed. The picture was excellent and the sound was above average. The remote didn't seem to be very strong, but it worked. If there were anything bad I could say about the unit it would be that there should be a volume control on the remote. Each of the displays work independently with their own power and volume controls. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.

Worked one time!
I bought it for my wifes car. She hooked it all up and played one movie and then tried to load another movie and it cam up no disc. She and I tried several movies after that and it worked off an on, more off than on. I did discover if you turned the whole unit off that it would read the next movie more readly than the way it was suppose to properly work. I have sent it back and I'm going to try it again. I'll let you know how that one goes!!

better than expected
We should have invested in something like this a long time ago, it makes driving long distances so much easier. So far this system has performed as promised. The speakers are loud enough for the kids to hear without having to use headphones, yet not too loud for the adults who have to listen to the movie as well. I like that you have the dvd unit up front, that way you don't have to get up to load another DVD. The remote is kind of cheap, but since you have all the buttons you need on the DVD unit you don't have to rely on it. All in all I am very pleased with this product.

Very bad experience
We purchased this for our daughter's first birthday and she loved it for about 10 days until the unit stopped working. We sent it back to the manufacturer about 4 weeks ago and still did not hear a thing. I tried calling couple of times, but no answer. Very bad customer service.
The unit would not read the CD/DVD.. It just says there is no DVD in there at all. Very bad experience. I sure hope I hear something back from them. I would not recomend the product to anybody.

Works well, but cables are a hassle!
I bought the product for my daughter to use in the car. Works well & has a good, clear picture. The only problem I have is that the cables from the dvd player to the monitors come unplugged easily. I would buy this product again.

Pleasantly Surprised
I was going to buy the RCA system but couldn't get it delivered by Christmas. Instead I bought the Axion system. My grand children and their parents love it. They like all the features. The one they like the best is the fact that the DVD player is in the front seat with them and the kids have the monitors in the back. This way they have control over the sound and which DVD is being played.

great investment
We bought the dvd player for a trip from NY to NE. Our 3 yr. old grandson loved it. The picture quality and sound are excellent. We are very pleased and satisfied with our player.
