Reading this book really Opened my eyes
I'm not sure how someone can leave a one star rating on a book that he hasn't even read and then slam a product that he never used.
When I first heard about noni, I admit I was skeptical too. When I was in Hawaii, the people there spoke very highly of it, so I thought I would do some reading on it. I found this book and my local health food store. After reading this informative, easy to read book and finding out why it helps most people, I decided to give it a try and had noticeable results in less than 3 weeks.
My family and I personally use Tahitian Noni juice and have wonderful results for chronic back pain and tendonitis issues, as well as many other ailments.
There have been many scientific studies on the beneficial effects of noni (Morinda Citrifolia). [...].
This book is a great resource for anyone who is interested in noni and how it may be beneficial to your health.

Rip-off warning...save your money!
I haven't read this book and don't need to....and neither do you. Neil Solomon is nothing more than a paid huckster for Tahitian Noni International, a company that loves to brag about its record profits and how many fools they've suckered into their pyramid scheme, but is strangely silent when it comes to supplying hard-core scientific evidence of how good noni actually is for long-term human consumption. There have even been reports from the Philippines of internal bleeding resulting from daily ingestion of noni juice. Many of the noni products available, especially the juice, have been highly refined and contain sugar and other ingredients to make it taste like something actually meant for human use. That's not what I call 'all natural' or 'healthy'.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT waste your money on ANYTHING having to do with noni products. It's nothing but a scam. I've watched this noni mess balloon into the new, Amway-type multi-level marketing scheme of the 21st century. Solomon himself no longer practices medicine. Why? Because he surrendered his medical license in 1993 after 8 female patients alleged improper sexual conduct by him while he was the head of a weight loss clinic in Maryland. The skankster then filed for bankruptcy to try and protect his assets, but later agreed to a $45,000 settlement. All of this is legally documented! But you want take this crook's advice on improving your health? PLEASE DON'T.
Amazon has many wonderful books on improving your health and well-being, but this is not one of them.

A good book, great source of information
It is interesting that all those who liked this book gave their name to their comment, while the one who says noni did not help him/her is just "a reader". We don't know which noni juice and how much of the juice he/she was taking, so to me this comment does not mean anything, it is a pity that he/she was not informed well enough to know how and for how long time to take it. Maybe if he/she had read this book (or any other in the subject)....
This book is interesting, to the point and informative, just as Dr. Solomon's other books on noni, period.

Great Book for Reference
This is another great book by Dr. Solomon! Dr. Solomon, along with many health care professionals from around the world, compiled the information in this book. It provides a history of noni and its historical use, as well as modern application in relation to specific health challenges. It is definitely a book everyone who drinks Tahitian Noni Juice should read and keep in their library!

It did nothing for me
I don't want to make a sweeping judgment either on the book, or the author - I simply want to add my 2 cents, since most reviews on miracle treatments tend to be either raving, or disparaging. I tried noni juice for my CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome). It did absolutely nothing for me, although I took it for 4 months. Luckily, I got cured in another way. I also want to add, that many of the people who may want to take noni juice are the ones with chroinc infections, and weakened immune systems. Therefore they may have a candida (yeast) infection as well. Getting a glass of the very sugary juice on an empty stomach could easily make their symptoms worse.

Noni Juice- A Clinical Primer
Dr. Solomon takes a hard but fair look at this amazing fruit. After reading the book, it's easy to see why morinda citrofolia is called "nature's amazing healer". Solomon's research reveals many characteristics of noni and it's amazing healing properties used for a variety of ailments. He explores the uses of the noni tree by ancient cultures, identifies the mechanisms of noni's efectiveness and chronicles modern case studies by polling other medical experts. He does a good job of identifying specific ailments that noni has been used to treat, and plenty of patient testimonials are included in the book. If the reader is more interested in personal "testinonials" I would suggest another of his books, "Tahitian Noni Juice, How Much, How Often, and For What".
