A warranty program that is NOT worth a cent
Granted I bought a different model, but my experience can be applicable to all that purchase from ViewSonic. My ViewSonic monitor is only a little over a year old, and it already has some dead pixels. Since it's under a 3-year warranty, I sent it in for RMA repair. Not only did it take over a month to get my unit back, but also they had the nerve to ship it back without doing anything about it! All the dead pixels are still there at the exact same locations.
If warranty is part of your decision making factors, be aware that the ViewSonic warranty is worthless.

Very happy
Monitor is great. I bought this for my wife's computer in the bedroom. Lots of input types, and picture is quite good. Monitor supports a zillion resolutions, but we're viewing at 1440 x 900 and it looks fantastic. As an HDTV we've had no problems either.

Owner and Happy
Picked one up for Christmas, and like the previous review, I have found nothing I have yet that won't plug right into it. I use it in my study / office and all visitors so far have commented about the picture and the sleek design. The price is right for a smaller HD TV.

A really useful monitor
What makes this monitor interesting is that you can use it in a lot of different ways. It has a PC hook-up, HDMI, S-video, and more. You can jack in your cable, your PC, and a video game console, and use the input button to easily switch between them. If you're in a dorm room or studio apartment, one display can be your TV and your computer monitor - you just can't watch TV while you're checking your email. It looks attractive enough, and the price is pretty good (remember - two for the price of one!). It's not the most beautiful picture I've ever seen - but not bad at all. You're buying convenience and form, not the centerpiece of a grand home theater. It's a huge step up from a regular CRT.
