Easy-to-use and clear graphics
We bought this unit to replace one that was stolen from my husband's truck. I think the fact that we chose to replace the stolen one with the same make and model speaks to how well we like this product.
Pros:
*Bright, clear screen
*Good sound, variety of spoken languages (the kids love to hear the British woman).
*Zoom in and out, adjustable points of view.
*Easy to download updates at web site.
*When searching for addresses, the unit is quick to pop up with potential cities/streets.
*Very helpful finding restaurants, gas stations, etc.
Cons:
*It's big and chunky compared to other brands.
*Canceling/changing your destination is not an intuitive process. I understand TomTom users have the same problem.
We like the Garmin so much, we've purchased a second one!

This product is pretty good for the price. I wish the maps were updated , I had one street in SC that wasn't on it, and it drove me crazy. Overall I enjoy this.

Great for the Basics! No Bells & Whistles Available
This GPS device is GREAT, if all you need is the basics.
It does not offer the ability to get real-time traffic up-dates (that starts with one model up!).
It gives great, clear, easy directions. And, the voice is easy to understand.
It does not give text-to-speech. That means, it does not say "Turn right on Main Street"...but, instead says, "Turn right in xxx miles."
It does not offer the option to change the arrow that denotes where you are.
It does take about 30 seconds to a minute (sometimes slightly more) to get a location of where you are when you first start up after a long down time.
The accuracy is very good, and I have never been lost with this device.
If all you need is directions, and nothing else, this is for you!
If you want some bells & whistles, keep looking...at least one level up!

Excellent Buy
I would recommend this product to anyone who would like a GPS. It is easy to use and not large or heavy. It arrives in a plain white Garmin printed box, and other than that, you wouldn't know that it is a refurbished item. Everything inside is covered and looks like it would if you bought it "new." Great price for a great item.

This is sooo GREAT !!!
Our son bought this for us last year for Christmas, and we absolutely love it sooo much!!! I never knew how bad I was with directions, I mean, I always got lot, took wrong turns, couldn't remember how far down a country road was, before I had to turn, and usually missed the turn grrr. But this took care of all of that !!!
We own a car lot and do several repos, so this has also helped us to find where the customer lives, easier to repo the cars :)
Anyhow, very few glitches, I mean, once it wanted to take me down the wrong way on a 1 ways street, and sometimes out on country roads, where farms have been rezoned and split for new homes, the address is either before or after where it says it is, but at least it gets me in the right area... We haven't yet updated it online, maybe that's what we need to do.
We used it when we went to Florida on vacation and it took us straight to the condo we stayed at, and actually got there 1 & 1/2 hours quicker than the year before without the Garmin.
We recently purchased 2 more of these exact models for both our parents, they think they are so cool. My Mother has named her Garmin "Gabby", lol... she says it's like having a little friend in the car with her :)
Anyhow, we love our little Garmin and if anything every happened to it, we would go straight out and buy another one :)

Very handy in a new town
I am very happy with the Garmin overall. You can set your preferences to avoid highways or u-turns and change the voice (language or accent).
My only real complaint with this GPS is that it does not take you the most direct to get someplace, it zig zags so I end up taking three rights and the three lefts rather than going straight and taking one turn at the end.

Garmin has been a goodie
A Christmas gift for my son (after buying one for myself!), the Garmin is a goodie. I got reburbished units for both of us, no problems - so the price was right! The only negative thing I have heard from my son (who is an experienced programmer) was that he needed updated maps in the city he is living in which has had recent growth so use is limited right now in his home-town, and there was one glitch in the programming where he entered 2 addresses when prompted with a question along the lines of "would you like to go to this first?", but he was sent to a former address when the directions came on, a programming glitch. Very minor matters easily worked around when you know they exist. For the price paid for the units, we consider it a super bargain and always have the confidence that we aren't going to get lost. And new maps can always be ordered. Recommended to buy a dashboard mount and an AC charger for long-term convenience, adding a few more dollars.

My husband LOVES it!!
I got this for my husband for Christmas. He asked for a Magellan, but after researching, I decided to go with the Garmin. I am so happy and he absolutely loves it!! I chose to go with the bigger Streetpilot instead of the thinner model (like my husband wanted)due to several reasons and, again, it was a good decision. It's so easy to use and with the factory warranty plus the Amazon warranty, it was a safe and smart purchase! We are planning to get one for our daughter, too!

Great Unit
I bought this for my son who travels with his work. I already own this unit myself.
I knew he would enjoy it's simple operation and accurate information.
It's packaging was different, but the unit was good as new. This GPS is so simple to use that you will throw the box away after one day. Love it.

Love this Gizmo
I purchased this Garmin for a road trip I was taking over the Christmas Holiday. It took me everywhere I needed to go, and most of the places were residential. The thing I love the most is that it's like having a co-pilot - which I normally don't have. I no longer have to try to read directions that are too small to see while I am driving. It is VERY easy to operate, and the price was right.

Great product
Already had the C550, bought this for a friend. The only issue keeping it from 5 stars is they packed the wrong car charger for it. So that ended up being a separate purchase. There was no time to return it because it was a X-mas present.

The Garmin Street Pilot c330 performed exactly as the reviews said it would. We put it to the real test by entering in an address that was a building within a commercial complex. The directions were exactly to the door at the time stated. Truly amazing, a good buy.

Excellent and Easy to Use
The Garmin c330 is a fast and easy installation and requires virtually no review of the instructions. it is pretty much self explanatory. Given product updates, this one provides plenty of information for most anyone and at a great price.
Although it comes in a plain white box, the materials inside are exactly the same as you receive brand new. I know because I also got a brand new one for my daughter.

Great Buy for a great price!!!
Bought this as a Christmas present for the hubby, he is not gadget minded but had been singing that dang Garmin song all season! Thought it would be cool to get him this. He was actually singing the song as he opened the nondiscript box and stopped mid melody as he realized he was getting a Garmin. He takes this thing everywhere, even in his friends cars. I bought him a satellite radio 2 years ago and its still in the box. I would recommend this to anybody, works great no problems and price was just right for an introductory GPS. Plan to upgrade for his Birthday!
