What is an online coupon?
An online coupon is a paperless electronic discount offer for your online purchase.
An online coupon is similar to a printable coupon (offline coupon) in a sense that gives you lower prices on the same items being promoted. You can save money from online purchases by applying (typing in) online coupon codes when you're checking out from merchant's online store. Merchants give out online coupons as incentives for shoppers to buy from them more likely than from their competitors. It is becoming more common for an online merchant to consider having myJaco.com to promote their online coupons that are in line with their online marketing strategy.
Online coupons usually come in the form of a special code or a special Web (HTML) link. The online coupon code is usually a text string only valid for a limited time that you will be asked about during the online checkout process. In some cases, the online coupons come in the form of special Web links, on which you need to click to get access to the special pricing.
To see an online coupon example, simply click on the merchants under 'Popular Stores' section on the left, and you should be able to find some online coupon codes.
